Customizing Your GoodCompany Portal: Branding, Menu, Pages & FAQs

🎨 Portal Customization

GoodCompany provides you with a flexible Content Management System (CMS) that allows you to personalize your portal to match your brand and internal navigation preferences. Once your Content Admin role is activated, you’ll be able to customize:

  • Company Logo: Recommended minimum size 180×60 pixels (3:1 ratio). Max 4MB. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF.
  • Favicon: Upload your tab icon for browser branding.
  • Colors: Set your Primary, Top Bar, and Navigation Bar colors to match your brand identity.

To begin customization, navigate to: Settings Customization ---

📁 Managing the Menu

Your top navigation menu allows you to guide users to important content or external links. To add or update a menu item:

  1. Go to Menu
  2. Click Add New Menu Item
  3. Choose one of the following:
    • Link Menu Item: Links to an external URL (e.g., your intranet or Slack guide)
    • Content Menu Item: Links to an internal page (e.g., About Us, FAQs)
  4. Enter a title and URL or select an existing page
  5. Click Preview, then Publish

To reorder or nest menu items (create submenus), use drag-and-drop within the Main Menu editor. ---

📝 Creating and Managing Pages

To create a new content page:

  1. Go to Pages Page
  2. Click New Page
  3. Add a Page Title
  4. Use the "+" button to add containers and elements like text, images, or embedded content
  5. Adjust alignment and sizing as needed

You can preview and publish your page once it’s ready. ---

❓ Managing FAQs

Your platform includes editable pre-configured FAQ pages. To add or edit FAQs:

  1. Go to Pages FAQ
  2. Click New FAQ to create a new set
  3. Add a title, then click Add Item
  4. Enter the question as a heading and the answer as detail text
  5. Click Publish or Preview

To edit existing FAQs, click Edit, make your changes, and choose to Preview, Publish, or Save Draft. ---

🏠 Homepage Templates

You can choose from pre-configured homepage templates or build your own layout.
